About the Event
About Mark Irwin & Luke Stevens
Mark Irwin is a country songwriter from the northeast, co-wrote Alan Jackson’s first number one hit “Here In The Real World”, a two time CMA Song of the Year nominee, ACM Song of the Year nominee and winner of the Music City News Award for Song of the Year 1990, along with the Tyler Farr number one single “Redneck Crazy” and the Tim McGraw number one hit song “Highway Don’t Care”, featuring Taylor Swift on guest vocals and Keith Urban on guitar…as well as Blake Shelton’s recent number one hit single, “Neon Light”. Mark also co-wrote the Tim McGraw’s single “Looking For That Girl” and Chris Janson’s “Power of Positive Drinking”.
Luke Stevens Born and raised in Oklahoma, Luke has performed from The Strip of Stillwater Ok, to the Bluebird Cafe. Moving to Nashville in 2021, he worked as a bartender at The Listening Room, studying and learning the craft of songwriting. He has penned songs with Nashville hit writers like Mark Irwin and Adam James and has shared stages with even more hit writers along the way. With his biggest musical inspirations being James Taylor and Jackson Browne, Luke displays honest, heartfelt lyrics into every song he writes. His dream has always been to “do what you love, and love what you do.” That dream is certainly coming true, so be sure to follow all the 23 year old Okie is doing in Nashville!
